I was going to refrain from writing about the meeting in Avery at the Storm Shelter this past week, but I just for the life of me cannot keep from it. 

I was disappointed at the way some of our citizens acted.  The people who came in from Clarksville (who I assume were there with our appointed Sheriff because they would only be quite while he was talking) acted like a bunch of uncivilized heathens.  There was no order, and every time Mr. Abbott would try to speak they would jeer and make comments.  I could name names, but it is no point.  These people all know who they are, and I want all of them that were involved including the older children, that you acted like a bunch of uncivilized animals.  It definitely showed that none of you has any manners, nor have you ever had any.  I know some of you think that belonging to the country club in Clarksville makes you civilized but from what I saw displayed in this meeting you people are a bunch of jerks!!   You do not curse in a public meeting, as one so called  lady did.  You do not scream at the top of your lungs like one of our elected officials father did.  I would say that you all acted like a bunch of Red Necks, but that would insult even them.  You do not scream and yell and talk while someone who was asked to the meeting is trying to answer questions.    I will say to all of those that were so disruptive, rude, immature, childish,  and will add to this list as I think about it, that you might want to check to see if you have soiled your diapers.

P.S.  If you don't believe this happened, the reporter and photographer from the Paris News witnessed the whole meeting.  No wonder this county has the reputation it has!!!!
