I heard a good one and I thought you might enjoy a good laugh.  It seems that one of our elected officials and his wife were at odds with each other.  The official came in one morning to find his wife sitting on the couch looking all down in the mouth.  He asked her what was wrong, and she said that she was really depressed.  Trying to be helpful he asked her what it would take to get her out of the depressed mood she was in, and make her feel better.  She told him that she wanted something new, shiny and bright sitting in the garage that would go from 0 to 250 in about 4 seconds.

You now are supposed to ask what can go from 0 to 250 in about four seconds...... anyway,

He left, and came back later in the day.  When he went in he told her that he had her fixed up.  She opened the garage door to a new, shiny bright set of bathroom scales.

The official is now looking for a place to stay....  any guesses?
